I received my BFA from the University of the Incarnate Word with a double concentration in painting and ceramics. I am proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture, and ceramics. I am in my last year of graduate school at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Experience
I have taught many classes ranging from age and ability, ages from 6-40 and ability from never doing art to art majors, my teaching style adapts to the students I have to better their learning. I want to be a tutor so I can help others love and do art as much as I do and to have fun in the learning process. I have taught at UTSA, the SW School of Art, and have subbed for my old professor at UIW, as well as taught an advanced wheel throwing demo at Sunin Pottery Studio. Also, I have been in many art shows and exhibitions in different areas of the country, so I know what is expected in the art world.

Tues/Thurs in the morning, Wednesday in the morning, Monday after 6PM, Weekends in the afternoon, Friday at any time

Hobbies
I love reading, it is a close second to art making. I read 2-3 books a week and when i have time I like to ride my bike and play soccer. Staying active is important to me, and these activities keep my creative mind going. There is always something to learn in any minuscule task. I am the kind of person that stays after hours to help other students, peers, and teammates. Helping others is what I have always enjoyed, and making a career out of it is my dream.
